I own an Cla 180 from 2013 and recently i had a issue with my car. On the display it showing the error 'Active bonnet malfunction' . I was wondering what's the reason for that error and how to fix it.
Recently the front grill has been changed so the error might be from the sensors or there's been an accident or something?
The car was in the garage when i get it with that error.
If someone could help with some info would be very apreciate.

Hello & welcome, I don't believe in coincidences so if there's been some work done around the grill then something has been damaged or dislodged. Whoever did the work needs to go back and look at it

Hi Veron, welcome to the forum. You have obviously tried just simply opening and re-closing the bonnet ? Or am I being a bit simple minded

I guess the garage will have to fix this but im waiting for the expert personal to make an raport about all thing havent been done properly.

Probably just needs reset but unfortunately I believe only Star can do it...
