CLA 35 Premium

I picked up my new car on Tuesday morning and I'm delighted with it.
I mentioned in an earlier thread that when I enquired about a new car at the end of September it just so happened that my dealer already had a CLA 35 Premium on order for stock which I was able to configure to my own spec,. The car only took 2 months to arrive, which in the current climate is very good.
They gave me £2k more for my CLA 250 than I paid them for it 17 months previously. Used prices seem to be falling now so I reckon I done the deal at just the right time.
I had the car fully debadged by the dealer before I picked it up and I think it looks much nicer and neater that way...particularly without the boy racer Turbo badges on the wings.

Did it come with all the equipment and features that are specified in the brochure? I've heard of some CLA's arriving with some of the "higher end" electronics and navigation features missing.

Great looking car. So different from the usual suspects. I've seen a couple of these in this colour and the piccies don't really do it justice. Great result on the trade in too!

My dealer had said the car would be missing keyless entry, wireless charging, and upgraded sound system.
As it turns out the car does have keyless entry...I do not have a compatible phone so the wireless charging does not interest me, and I have not even listened to the sound system yet but I'm sure it will be absolutely fine.
The only other thing I have found which seems unusual is that the door mirrors do not have puddle lights, which is strange because I thought all CLA had them.
I looked in the settings under Surround Lighting and the graphic of the car shows puddle lights. I looked at the underside of the mirror and it definitely does not have any kind of light built in.
Puddle lights are a nice feature but it's defintely not the end of the world that my car doesn't have them for some reason.
Apart from that everything seems as it should be.

Interior wise and aside from AMG specific touches it is pretty much the same as my previous car, and I absolutely wanted the same no cost option of red/black leather. My dealer said at the time of ordering that it was an unusual combination with the yellow exterior and they would never specify it together, but I think it looks great. Plus with this car not having the panoramic roof I didnt want a plain black interior.
I have booked a ceramic coating in 2 weeks with the detailer that done my white car. It takes a full 2 days then overnight curing before the car is ready to drive away, but I will have started my Christmas holidays by then so that's perfect.

The only downside about this car (well its not the cars fault but the greed of our government) is that it is subject to the additional supplement on the annual VED, which based on todays rates is a combined total of £490 compared with £155 for my CLA 250. If recent annual rises apply this figure will have increased by £15 when I renew my tax this time next year. Oh I did get the dealer to tax my car for an extra week so that I didn't effectively lose the whole month of November.

I originally enquied about a Premium Plus car and was told that it would not come with Multibeam LED.
This is a fantastic feature that I had on my white car and would have been disappointed if I ordered a Premium Plus car and it didnt have it.

Just out of curiosity I done a webuyanycar valuation for my car.
They are never good on brand new cars but I thought they might be different this time.
Car is 4 days old and they have offered exactly £3k less than list price/what I paid for it.
