I noticed that Clarkson's SL55 is for sale in the back of the January Octane magazine -These people have it http://www.thehairpincompany.co.uk/ it is the 2002 one in the stock list.

Its says sold £48k, that Topaz is the only other colour that I would have bought.

he did at least show the world a car even less reliable than my Merc....his Ford GT. There really was a car with problems....

To be truthful I would rather go for the face lift 03 car and even go down to the 500, the servicing cost are horendous. the price for a 03 500 is almost the same. Its hard to stop the rear wheels spinning on mine yet alone the 600.

Those wheels that blobcat mentions are nice, they are 2 or 3 piece and expensive, there are similar wheels on some C class cars but only 1 piece.

Not all that easy to clean and normaly on Ebay.

Yes I did see that,and that is over the top for me,it reminds me of adds of cars gone by XXXX for sale,one careful owner, £9.5k spent in the last 2 years £4k or offers.
