A friend of mine has just inherited an immaculate 1960 mercedes 190SL sport. How does one go about selling such a car? Thanks in advance.

Get an accurate valuation from a Mercedes car club - there is normally an expert for each model in a marque - and then advertise it
If the car is prepared and photographed properly, described accurately and advertised at a sensible price, it will sell
Otherwise sell it to the trade or get them to sell it on a commission basis
