Clc 220 2009 wing mirror case removal.

Hi, the wing mirror indicator glass is smashed in my Merc clc 220 from 09. The whole mirror unit is fine and functioning, however the case seems to have some broken clips. I bought another mirror unit. My plan now is to remove case from the unit I bought, repaint, and replace with the broken on on the car.

If anyone knows step by step guide on how to remove the case, that'd be great help. I will also appreciate any suggestions on how I should proceed.

Does anyone have any instructions or pictures on how to remove the indicator on a CLC 2008 coupe facelift model . I have managed remove the glass and motor but I have no idea how to take the cover off
