May I seek advice as to how to remedy the parking brake on a CLC where it does not readily dis-engage by pulling the the release handle.

Once the parking brake is on, it can take several attempts of releasing and resetting using the foot peddle until it fully dis engages. Is this like to be a straight forward adjustment or something more.

Thanks

Nikki

Not had this before on a 204, could be a pedal fault, there is no equalizer that I can see.

Only way in which I can get parking brake to dis- engage is to push on with foot peddle and then pull handle to release. Sometimes takes several try's to fully release. Nikki

Is your car a 204, or 203

This one is different, do lubricate the equalizer 210, you should have an access panel under the rear seat

Just use any oil, WD40 is not an oil. You could start off with WD40 and then when all freed off and working follow up with oil.
