There is a rattle coming from the tailgate area of my CLC every time I go over a bump that is driving me mad !

I have already taken off some of the trim to the top and sides of the rear window glass and used double sided adhesive foam pads to try and stop various items from moving, but still can not stop the noise.

I have not as yet removed the large cover at the bottom of the tailgate since can not immediately identify how to remove. Does anyone have the instructions ?

Any suggestions as to how to elimate the rattle would be welcome.

Thanks

Nikki

You need a bit of packing/foam in between the screen trim and gate itself, its a common fault.......

I had this once in my V70R,, the cure was to sit a friend in the rear (yes I did have friends once) and drive round the block. all fixed in no time.

Thanks for the suggestion re using packing foam.
I have previously removed the trim to the top and sides of the rear window glass and used double sided foam adhesive tape to try to stop rattle, but no success at present. Do you think the rattle is likely to still come from the trim around the rear glass window or lower at the foot of the tailgate.

Thanks Nikki
