The climate control fan on my S-Class for some strange reason has suddenly decided only to run at one speed (slow). It makes no difference if I change to manual control or change the temperature settings, the fan will only run slow or off. I have checked the fuse box.

Anyone any ideas please?

Climate Control Fan

Did you resolve this problem?
I have a similar difficulty on my S280 - I'm told it needs a rheostat kit (£155 + vat from the dealer).

Climate Control Fan

Hi

It can be the resistor pack for the motor. The price you been quoted sounds a little cheap. I have had trouble lcoating new parts. Bosch at one time supplied but have subsequently stoped (Unless you know something I don't) The brushes on the heater motors also give us a little grief.

Hope this helps
