I have had my automatic C180K (W203) for 2.5 years and have run the car with the climate control left on auto as advised by the main dealer supplier - until today. Because my grand-daughter was in the car she wanted the windows open so I switched off the c/c for about 15 minutes. About 3 hours later, when I drove the car out of its park space, I noticed a trail of liquid `splodges` being left on the ground. Stopping in my local supermarket about 10 minutes later, and looking under the car, a puddle was forming from about the centre of the underbody. There is what appears to be a tray/shield in this area and the liquid was dripping from this. The finger-tip test was both tasteless and had no smell. Having driven regularly in the States, it is quite normal to see water collecting under cars from their air-con systems, however, this is the first time I have noticed it on my C180. Anyone had similar liquid deposits?
By the way, although I have been reading the Owners` Forums for over 2 years, and they are a mine of advice and information, this is my first post, mainly, I suppose, because my car has proven to be practically problem free.
