Hi,

Ive got a 6 cd changer in my CLK and it had been working fine up until last night when I changed a load of CDs.

Now it does a magazine scan - but fails to recognise that there are CDs in the magazine. I swapped the old ones back - and the same issue.

Looking at it - it scans cd1 - moves to cd2 - then kinda gives up. Ive changed the cds around - same problem.

Anyone else been through this problem?

Its it just as easy to bite the bullet and take to a dealership?

Ta

Funny units these, I have had similar problems. If you disconnect the power and reconnect that may resolve the problem, if not it may need to go to the repair shop.

or wiggle the fibre-optic lead connection

Ahh thanks guys for the feedback!

I went into and had a look for the power thing - but I think I'd need to start removing stuff - and I have a bad habit of breaking things - so decided against it - pulled out the magazine -put it back in - then eventually (possibly because I hadn't used it for 24 hours) came back to life!
