Clk 200 coupe 2007 key remote only works by door(batts changed)

Hi everyone looking for some help please, key fob only works right by sensor on door has been working fine,have changed batteries on both key fobs,radio works ok and fuse 8 is ok.

What car is it? My wife's slk will not open the doors if you remove the aerial for any reason. On the aerial circuit there is a signal amplifier. Maybe that is not working.
