clk 2001 stereo removal

hi again jsut wondering how tog et my stadard head unit out so i can put an after market on in? what tools do i need or is it a case of some improvised screw drivers? also i have the steering wheel controls can i use this with my new unit if so whats the best one to go for?

not sure on that year, do you have 2 little slots each end of the radio

I have a CLK 200 52 plate that has flat keys that slide under the radio and then conect to allow you to pull out the radio.

Are you replacing a CD10? If so what are you doing with the old one.

yeah replacing the cd 10 and nothing prob sell it i have a changer int he boot but is it wise to take all that out to and sell as a package
