CLK 208 headlights - E-code lens for 430

Hello,
   I am from the United States and was wondering whether the headlights on the cars in the US are different then those available in Europe.  If they are, is it possible to retrofit the E-code Lenses to my car.....I have the xenon lights.

Hi Stephen,

I doubt if your headlamps are the same as those made for the European market. Even in Europe there maybe differences depending on country. I would think that you will require complete headlamp assemblies. Since not only the lens will be different but also the reflectors.

Following on from Andy, if yours is a standard US spec car, then as he says your lights will be different. You will have the separate sealed beam main lights with the front fog lamps moulded into the main light casing. There is a trend at the moment to fit what you call Eurolights into US spec cars, mainly because the standard light given out from Eurolights is far better than standard US spec ones, plus they look a lot better as well. This applies mostly to the 1980's style cars such as 190E's, 300E's and so on. All those i have spoken to who have sitted Eurolights have upgraded them to Xenon as part of the changeover.
