Hi all

I recently had the orange engine warning light come on in my CLK. I had it checked out and the garage said the fault codes showed one of the Lambda sensors was faulty. They replaced this, at considerable cost. The warning light went out. However, I've done about 1000 miles and the warning light is back on again. Anybody got any ideas before I shell out more money?

Thanks

Without checking the fault codes, not really. If you haven't had your MAS sensor replaced though, Id take £300 with you when you go. My Lamda sensor was diagnosed as slightly out of range, then shortly after and before it was replaced, the MAS failed. Apparently its not unusual for a dodgy MAS to kill the Lamda sensor with a rich mixture.
