CLK 230 Manual

Hi,

My friend's just bought a 98 CLK230 & as he doesn't have the internet, so I said I'd ask for him.

He's looking for a service manual for the car?

Any ideas where he can get one?

Yeah - he's got a computer, so that'd be fine.

Saw them on Ebay but about £50.00 :-(

A lot of cheap 2 disc copies on Ebay, but none of them list CLK230 - it's all CLK320 ..

That is because the CLK 230 was not sold in the US. (I think)

One consolidation, The SLK230 (same engine) was sold in the US, and most of these manuals cover it.

My SL320 V6 (98-01) was not sold in the US (inline-6 only, 93-98).
But the V6 (M112) was supplied in E-Class, Clk etc. which is covered in the manual.
I haven't purchased them yet, but the DVD version (about £20) seems to be the more user friendly regards instalation. The CD version requires 2 CD drives. This can be overcome by creating a virtual drive.
