clk 320 missfiring 456

clk intermiteantly missfiring cylinders 4,5 and6 and advice doesnt happen all the time sometimes car shakes a lot in drive aswell

You ned some diags run on the car to itentify the faults. Have you changed the MAF or air flow meter recently?

yes we recently changed MAF installed a bosch one diagnostics threw up cylinder fault but nothing else

4,5 and 6 are all on the left hand bank. I would be suspecting the lambda sensor in the left hand down pipe as it is the only thing common to all those cylinders. Get that checked out first.

If misfire only starts after driving quite hard and resets if you switch off and re-start the engine....... Then ecu reset bootstrapping and sensor rotor adaption will cure it. This will have happened as a result of changing the mass sensor. Its about 50/50 when you change a mass sensor... Half hour on the star tester will sort it

could be water in the fuel rail.

Thats more common than people think!! Rail comes to a dead end on that bank, At least on the other bank you can let the pressure go!
