clk 320 R 1998 removal of rear seats

Can anyone give me some advice on how to remove the rear seats, to enable me to adjust the handbrake cable

It just lifts up, there might be 2 catches just below, nothing else

yep, grab the seat from the front edge and pull up, its held down by 3 spring clips at the front alone

Hi every one what is the easy way on how to fit brake shoes for the foot brake .To the rear of my clk320 1998
do you have to take the stub axel off to make it easy to fit them it looks a bit nasty

Rear brake shoes for handbrake

Is there an easiy way to fit rear brake shoes for the footbrake on my clk320 1998.Do i need to take the stub axal off to make it easiyer.It looks nasty

Its fairly easy to do, you have to unbolt the caliper and put too one side, back off the parking brake adjuster, take out 1 screw from the drum part of the disc, knock the disc off, then make a note of where the holes that the springs are in on the shoes and remove.

The picture shows the adjuster and you use a flat screwdriver through the hole to turn it with and up or down movement

At this stage you should think about changing the rear disc if worn, it will save you have to do it all over again.
