I just bought a 2000 clk 320 elegance and when i reach 110mph the car cuts out and i get a winter tyre limit message come up. I know this is the permenant speed limiter but I can't figure out how to switch it off. Even the manual doesn't say.

If you have the feature to enable this, then you have the option to be able to take this away and revert back to normal tyres.

It is there in the memory, re set it to factory settings and set the options that you wish to have.

The problem is the need to go over 110mph...in winter...on normal roads...or are you on a track day?
