Clk 430

I have a 2001 CLK 430 and it truly is an awesome drive. When the seller told me to drive a 230 and a 320 before driving this beast was spot-on as it made me appreciate it even more. It is SO smooth and the acceleration is exceptional. I have owned some fast cars, but none have "felt" as quick as this does...Love it!!

Anyhow, does anyone know if I can fit a bluetooth phone system and a TV card into the COMMAND system and how much it will cost. As usual Mercedes Main Dealers want a fortune so does anyone know where I can get this done at a reasonable cost.

If you want to hang on re the TV I will be doing my own shortly and fitting a diggi box, MB want £880 + fitting.

If you Google search there are firms out there that do blue tooth, not cheap

Corrosion and advice please....!

Can I ask. I have some tiny blemishes on my CLK 430. Did you get them all done under warranty? Mine is a 2000 and is mint except for these few blemishes on the paintwork, particularly one on the roof, very close to the front windscreen.

I had my boot lid done FOC on my 1998 E300TD, as this was a known problem, but how do you approach MB with this? I don't know what the corrosion warranty is so I may have passed the time when I would have been able to return the car.....any advice is appreciated as if I can get this done under warranty, then that would be perfect.

When the guy was inspecting my old E300TD, he said that any blemishes that show that they are broken, IE evidence of stone-chipping will not be considered by MB.

Hi Malcom,

Are you doing the digi-box yet? I have a guy in Leicester that can fit a digital TV card, etc for £600 and a bluetooth kit that works through the COMMAND system and displays the phone number calling and text messages on the screen, again for £600.

Does this seem reasonable?
