CLK 270 leather drivers seat. Is it possible to replace the plastic trim on the right side (the height adjusting knob and height adjusting lever both come through this trim) without removing the seat ??

Thanks for help Malcolm. I'm surprised not reported before, it cracked and broke quite easily as the change in my back pocket rested on it as I was getting out of the car.

Once more thanks for help Malcolm.

I think the drawing sent is for L.H.D. it doesn't show how to remove the wheel and lever

Thanks again Malcolm

Just checked it all on the car, my main problem seems to be removing the height adjusting wheel and lever inm order to slide the panel off. Can see no locking screws or pins holding them.

Dont want to break these trying to force them off.

Might have a word with service manager, he might tell me,
