CLK Ignition Key

Could anybody help.
I have a 2000 CLK-430 and the Electronic Ignition Key is showing real signs of wear & tear.
I approached my main dealer in Ascot for a replacement.
No problem sir, that will be £193.00 + VAT.
No thanks !
Therefore does anyone out there have any ideas where I can get a key, or maybe get my key refurbished at sensible prices.

Keys are available ONLY from MB dealers, they are then coded to the car by the dealer.
Try getting a quote from another MB dealer as prices do seem to vary from one dealer to another.
