Next week is looking fairly quiet at the moment, but I’ve been in this game a looong time. A bank holiday weekend like this is usually a guarantee of next week being insanely busy. Don’t ring Monday, I’ll probably have stopped picking it up by 9am. Give me a shout Tuesday, we’ll squeeze you in at your convenience
Will give you a call Tuesday Txs for help

Figgy turned up. Bought nice biscuits too! Thanks Chris!
Straight away looked like a soft top ECU problem. Stored fault code for module failure. We ran a few checks for correct operation of the various limit switches, and they all performed as they should. It’s coming back to remove the large plate in the boot that covers the pump and ECU, and then I can perform some final checks, but I’m already 99% certain it needs a replacement control module.

Do have a good look, see if it’s oily anywhere. Lift out the back seat bum rest and check underneath

Usually leak at the rear struts in the pockets next to the rear windows. It pools in there for aages.

I have a spare roof module if needed.

I’m pretty sure the module is fubar, but it probably has a leak too. With luck looking at it Wednesday, but I have a long running family crisis ongoing that has already cost me most of my hair and slightly more of my sanity…

Also, when are you visiting? There are biscuits here that require your attention…
