Hi

I have managed to snap off the mirror flap cover from the passenger side sun visor from my CLK (209). Is it possible to replace the flap or is it a full new visor? If it is possible to replace the flap is there a part number for it?

Thanks for your help

Hi Richard-- if only one "peg" has snapped it can be mended by carefully inserting a small thin screw in its place and then sawing the head off at the right length.
I have a pair of new W210 E class mirrored visors in grey leather -but am not sure if they fit the CLK ?

It might be posible to make a new pin, by using a small nail.

drill out base of broken one & clip appropriate size nail, re insert & glue.

doh should read to end of posts first!!!

did similar to an expensive marine fridge, when the freezer flap was snapped off.

television

That works well, and I have done hundreds of the flaps that we used to get on the older TV set, just by drilling out an using a thin nail
