CLK W208 Suspension and Wheels.

Can anyone help? I have a CLK 230K 2000 model and wish to fit sports suspension and 18 inch alloys. I Know that this will affect the ride comfort but by how much? What I don't want is a go-cart type ride cos I enjoy my comfort too much. What are the best combinations and what other suspension parts will be needed?

Edi,i have an `02 clk 230 Avantgarde which comes with sports sus. as std.This set up is quite firm,in fact sometimes i think i would like it a bit more comfy.
