CLK200 Komp thrust problem

Hi all, when on the motor way if I "kick down" 1 time out of 4 the car does not accelerate with a burst of speed it just gradually gets faster.
Any ideas?

have you had the maf replaced recently??? these none bosch MAF's available from Ebay etc for £50 are crap, you can think the car runs well once fitted but you soon notice a dead throttle at certain speeds or a misfire at a set rpm.

ONLY EVER BUY WHAT MERCEDES FITTED AT THE FACTORY IF ITS GOT BOSCH ON IT REPLACE IT WITH BOSCH!!!!!!!!!!
