CLK230 Elegance Kompressor internal alarm

Does anyone know how I can turn off the internal sensors, as at the moment I cant keep my dog in the car which is becoming a real problem as we go to a lot of dog shows! Its an R Reg 1998 not 97 I think - 2 door coupe model.
