Hi there,
Is anyone able to advise how to get to the rear of the display on my CLK so that I can check connections to a dodgy digital clock.
Thanks

the instrument cluster pushes out from the rear, nothing holding it other than a tight fit. there are tools so that you can pull it out.

The fault is poor connections that need packing out with wedges.

Just take out the panel from under the dash.

The cluster will be tight and it will need a hard push, from one side or the other, once it starts to come its easy.

I was going to look for your guide to put into the 'how to' now I have the link I will copy it in. :)

The actual fix of the digits can be put up later, I would love to get my hands om one.

When I get Pipemasters I can photograph that but it is a different fault.

The problem dash is on a CLK which is not covered by the S class repair for some bizarre reason
