clk320 front left wheel noise

Hi after having my clk (W,2000) mot`d noticed a noise from front left wheel, no real play in it but noise is now much worse, so don`t want to drive it incase I do real damage, any ideas please? The noise gets louder the faster I drive, sounds like a wooshing/grinding noise!
