Oh dear here I am again
My 2005 270 clk has been behaving itself for a while now until a few of days ago when the analog clock on dash stopped. The digital part was also wrong so I reset it hey presto all was well until it stopped again but this time digital part showed correct time clock did not .Today it has done it again both digital part (accessed via steering wheel controls) and analog have stopped. Reset all is good again for now. Car has new battery starts on button so no voltage drop .Not sure where to start with this but not tearing out instrument panel as have aftermarket jvc head unit with clock .if it is a simple fix would like it to work but not at huge cost !!

Ok so does this look like time to say good bye to my clk or is it a sensible fix.? The old girl has done 170k and needs a few bits done but generally is very reliable. The trouble is most of the clk of this year have done Same sort of miles or are silly money with very low miles . Devil or deep blue sea !!

there will be videos on how to repair on youtube..

in eastern Europe they still grow up with adults skills and repair stuff themselves... if not that brave some places will do a basic bodge for £90
