Lovely car but in matt? Mmm not sure...
Like it, but then i see a CLS in matt black once on the M3, liked that as well!!!!
Got to admit that the 218 is very good looking, the back end seemed lost on the 219
It does have something about it in matt. I loved the CL I saw at the dealer's, that was in Palladium matt finish. Salesman said it was going to be a real pain to clean and repair...
I have to agree. If MB had done that to the 218, it would have been a truly stunning thing to look at. This, however...
That is the 218
The 'old' one then - whatever it was called!
So what's the 219 which Malcolm refers to?
Shooting Brake ? How very twee !
The original was the 219,,, they had to go back on a number as the 220 is already taken
It's going to get very confusing..
The CLK is now a C207
So just a few numbers spare now, the 216 is taken so just the 217 to go next year
I really want a CLS shooting brake with that teak boot.
Will have to start with either a 3, 5, 7, 9
I am just doing something on this line but they are all taken with the commercials and buses etc
Its taken 22 years to get from the 201 to now so above 260 is all clear up to 299, maybe I will not be posting when the 299 comes along
I understand now!
See what happens when you don't pay attention for a moment...
So what I meant to say was this : "I have to agree. If MB had done that to the 219, it would have been a truly stunning thing to look at. The 218, however..."
