cls steering out after suspension airbag replacement ?

why is the steering wheel out on this cls 500 after replacing the rear air bag ?

Have you done the work yourself? To get the bag out you need to disconnect the rear toe link. If you undo the outboard end you don’t disturb the rear wheel alignment. If you disconnect the inboard end of the toe link you’ll lose the alignment. The car will crab and you’ll need a four wheel alignment

i did the first time UB but this time i was away and the owner had a go himself , so looks like hes undone something he should not have
