Cls w219 2007 suspension creaking sound

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum. Just got cls and when I turn the steering there is a creaking noise
I normally work on my own cars, but this car is new to me and I don't want to touch it until I have an idea.

Any Intel appreciated.

Could be a broken spring, it happens quite often

Welcome buddy . Check the power steering fluid level as well .

Check balljoints as well.

Hub ball joints are known to squeak.

It can be difficult to see a broken spring or it could be blindingly obvious. Generally the very bottom or very top rusts then cracks.
