Hello all, new A160 (2010 Right-hand drive) owner here!

I'm hoping someone can enlighten me on something please - underneath the clutch pedal is a deeper well, which the pedal goes into when fully depressed. In front of the well is a hard edge. When I depress the clutch pedal fully, I can feel this edge pressing into the sole of my shoe.

So, is the clutch pedal supposed to depress this far? Or is it supposed to stop in line with the hard edge, leaving the well as a gap underneath it? As it is, it just feels a bit... weird.

I've put some photos below to illustrate - any help greatly appreciated!

As long as your gears change easily when the pedal is at the hard edge it will be fine. If not, the pedal has to go farther.

The little rubber has probably slipped on the pedal slightly. They are usually very close. Our courtesy car ones are a pain as the floor matt moves 1.3mm and touches it every time.

After only 2 inches of pressing down on the clutch peddal the clutch will be disengaged so not worth botherng about this .The time to bother is when you cant engage a gear with foot right down on the floor .
