Clutch Upgrade

Hi all,

I did some research and could not find much about clutch upgrades for a c230k w202.
Plans for the Engine is that it will be a project to where the car will be running roughly 400+bhp within this year.

I came across Black Diamond Kevlar stage 2 kit and Drive Torque Stage 1,2,2.5,3 clutch kits.

Wanted to ask have anyone has ever used them before or does anyone recommend where to go?

Clutches are rated in torque so 400bhp is irrelevant , Sachs organic SRE ?

Easy option would probably be to get the drive line out of a C43, should be enough to manage the tourque your looking to out out but might be a little rare

A C180 that's done 250K, and now aiming for 400 bhp, yes a rusted out C43 would be useful.

Are you using it for track purposes or just to have a quick car for the road?

If you are tracking it then get a full blown AP racing clutch.
