Hello Guys,

I got a c class 2015 c250d and i got this code showing up. I went to few mechanics they checked the injectors and even replaced them but didnt go away they checked the cylinder pressure aswell which was same as other cylinders. The mechanics even checked the wiring around it which was fine.

They said cars fine but when i drive car dont change gears until it goes above 3000rpm so when it goes to 2000rpm I manually change it with my shifters. 3 mechanics said the engine is fine its electrical fault but dont know what it is.

I have spent so much trying different things im honestly scared to take it to Mercedes because it might cost me an arm.

Anyone else with this issue?

Most on here use a MB independent who are used to the brand for fault finding. If you give an indication of where you live someone will give a recommendation of a nearby specialist, throwing money at a problem changing parts is never a good idea

Hi Waasif23,

did you find whats wrong? I drive, actually drove R172 250 cdi and experienced same problem. I let even local (Belfast UK) Mercedes stealership to rob me for £180 and as expected, didn't help at all. :-(

Teach in of operating parameters for cylinder one has a malfunction , surely just refers to the ecu having trouble taking / being programmed with the injector code ?
The -54 after the main code defines the actual problem although I have no idea what that -54 means
