Coding and warranty...

I am thinking of having my c230 06 coded to enable folding auto folding mirrors,tyre pressures etc using STAR coding.

Does anyone know if having this done will affect the mercedes warranty on the car? Will they know that what you have done if something goes wrong therefore not cover it?

Hello and welcome I do not think that MB will care and it cannot affect the car if done on STAR

Thanks.Having just had the car 2 weeks,i am a little nervous about having it done.

Is there anything to worry about?

Right,had my coding done.Met up with Richard from comand and he done it all for me.I would reccommend dealing with these guys as they certainly know their stuff.I now have auto folding mirrors on locking car,tyre pressure sensors,digital mph and the amount of gallons left in the tank.Also i now have the outside temp reading on main display instead of trying to find it through the menu's.
