Coil and Strut bearing replacement- your help needed!!!

Hi All

My wifes A170 has recentley failed its MOT.

The major points include:

Nearside rear coil spring fractured
Offside front Macpherson strut upper support bearing is rough in operation

Has anyone replaced either or both components? OR is it a big job for a garage?

Have a look at www.aclassinfo.co.uk, loads of useful a class service/repair info.
Neither job is particularly difficult, but you will need a spring compressor to do the top mount [strut bearing].
