comand 2.0 aux for ipod

hi all,

i want to fit an aux connection to my retrofited comand 2.0 in my 2001 clk, have seen comandonline do one but its out of stock, anyone know of another supplier? or if it can be done with parts from a place like maplin? if so whatrs involved

These things are sold on Ebay around £120 to enable video into a Comand 2 and 2.5

The basic AUX connection simply gives you a 3.5MM jack plug in the glove box which you can plug an MP3 player into.

If you are happy to wire it in yourself, then go to your local dealer and order one of these;

A210 440 50 05 costs a few quid thats all

And four of these;

A008 545 55 26 Cost a few pence thats all.

Then simply wire it into the C2 connector on the back of your comand;

You will need to drill a 20mm hole in your glove box if you dont already have the cutout ready.

ok am just about good to go - i have the parts and have cut the white connector off, which colour wires go to which port?

the retrofit loom i have is the plug and play one from comand on line if that helps??
