Comand Adaptor

Can anyone help me.

I'm about to retro fit a comand 2.0 unit in my w210 e class. I understand that I need an adaptor (part number A016 545 36 26) to plug into the existing C connector on the harness and then make a cable which will then plug into the C1 and C2 connectors on the comand unit. However MB have said they don;t supply the male C connector - does anyone know where I can get one from or am I barking up the wrong tree.
