Daughters fella has a 2014 E400 207.
It is fitted with Comand APS.

Can these be fitted with a dashcam,
if so what sort of kit / price is likely.

Dashcams can be fitted to any car as a standalone unit from about £60 up, diy, plus maybe £15 for a hardwire kit.

Is he looking for one that integrates with his comand screen? Maybe best to chat to comandonline for a price?

The Lady is thinking it would be a nice xmas pressy.
Yes he would like one that integrates with his Comand.

Discreet is always a plus.
One issue I perceive is that being a soft top any antennas would be in the wind screen. My experience is that kit close to antennas can cause RF interference.

I guess I'm hoping those with experience of such an add on might share their experience.

oh - ignore me - I thought you were on something much older - I'd read it as 2004 - not 2014

.... I'd be hesitant - the NTG1 doesn't get video in - so I doubt lesser systems can do it, thus its not so easy

aka my father's w211 of 2006 with comand NTG1 can't do a rear camera.... I guess as I think it could have TV one might be able to do something but it would be a manual turn it on each time - i did see a gadget that was made to get the w220 to cope, I think you can fight to get you there
