After cleaning up my daughters sick from my consol, I have inadvertently changed a setting on the Navi. I zoom in to 0.05mi, but still the arrow appears 'more' zoomed out.

Any suggestions on what I may have done ? Can the position of the car be changed on the screen ?

Also the Navi is a bit laggy now when turning corners etc.

Thanks

Do you have linguatronic in your car, I just use my voice to control the nav screen, say zoom in or zoom out and it follows my instructions.

It does zoom in and out, just doesnt seem to be far enough.

Is there a way to change the actual position of the car on the screen ?

Ive attached a screen shot, im sure I could zoom in to just my street level, rather than see all the rest... hmmm...any ideas?

You can change the view so that the map stays north up and the cursor tracks your position rather than the map moving around your current position.

NAVI -> MAP ORIENTATION

I've tried playing about with the different orientations, and still cant get the look before "the clean up".

I had this set as 3-D map before, and it was zoomed in further than in the screenshot.

Does the screenshot look standard to you 'Comand' ? Are you aware of any setting to zoom in even further ?

(I did notice I had set some POI's when I had been cleaning the consol)

Ill look at few other cars today but it looks okay to me. difficult to see how a 'clean' could have changed the resolution like this :confused:

I take your point but my S212 has the same level of detail as your image is showing; looks ok to me.

Just one point here, the map presentation is very different once you have selected a route and when on the guided route the maps zoom in and have much more detail
