Hi All, my COMAND NTG1 on the E, although showing exactly the right position on the road, has developed a problem knowing which way the car is pointing!

The map normally swivels to match your direction of travel but now, (only) some of the time, the map does not swing as the car does. Therefore the little cursor ends up going sideways on the screen.

Going into the satellite display shows 8 satellites tracking....

What is this likely to be?

If the pointer is on the actual road that you are on the speed signal is fine,,if the pointer is just floating around then no speed signal.

In the menu you can change the direction that the pointer is facing,,I have mine set to North, so that coincides with looking at a map

Hi Telev. Yes position on the road is spot on. Menu is set to point in direction of travel (which it does some of the time!).

All I can think of then is the scale that you are using

Have you tried the different Map View settings to see if it changes? What does it do if you set it to Bird's Eye?

Cheers,
Bill
