Comand NTG2 Navigation GPS Problem

I have a 2007 Viano Marco Polo (Campervan) fitted with the Comand NTG2 system.

A few weeks ago when setting a route the GPS location froze on where I was and now will no longer find or track my location.

Despite trying the old map cd and then re-updating the system with the new one it is still fixed on the position where the system froze.

I have checked the GPS signal and it reads 5 which indicates it not the antenna.

Can anyone advise what the problem may be and how I could potentially resolve it by resetting the Navigation system so it re-acquires my position or any other method.

I would think that it has locked up,, you will need to remove all power to it for a few mins, easiest be disconnecting the battery.

Anything digital can lock up, and the only cure is a power down
