COMAND - RADIO PROBLEM

The sound from the radio on my 2002 SL500(R230) cuts out intermittently.
When this happens I switch to the CD and the sound is OK.
Any ideas what is causing this problem?

Yes, I've got an iphone 4S connected via a Viseoo.

Sounds like a dodgy antenna connection/antenna amplifier to me.

The antenna amps are a pain to get to as they are behind the dash!
