Hi, my command screen keeps going off completely, and a high pitched noise sounds, no controls work for the stereo or anything, could this simply be a fuse issue?

Unlikely to be just a fuse… I’d disconnect the power completely for a minute or two and see what it does on a reboot.

Only issue you’ll have is having to reset your windows and clock if you go down the disconnect the battery route

I had disconnected the battery, screen back on at first, then go's off again and noise persists

If the head unit is faulty, would this cause the issue? A few buttons seem stuck/jammed in?

Is your battery charge low? That can affect the Comand screen although it doesn’t explain the sound you mention.

if the buttons are stuck in this could be confusing the head unit you could try contact cleaner spayed onto the offending buttons but disconnect the power and give enough time for the contact cleaner to evaporate.

Yes I would say so. The unit is confused at what it is being told to do.
