Comand shuts off

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is a common problem but I recently bought a 2008 C320, while I’m driving, the comand screen closes for no reason and I lose rear indicators and also the last couple of times the fuel gauge drops and I also get what sounds like a ticking sound from the speakers when I’m sitting at around 70mph. After the comand screen closes it doesn’t re-open by pressing any buttons. I’ve found that I have to switch the car off and remove the key then start the car up again and everything works like normal. A quick search on google says it’s an earth wire issue, I’m no electrician so I’m not sure.

Can anyone help.

It sounds like you have an issue with your rear sam module, best to check with diagonstics, but not too difficult to change.
