Still wouldn't entertain one I had a humble 318 a few years back and it was awful. No guts, depressing interior and every thing was heavy about it. I know the 318 in not the best representation of a BMW but it was enough to put me off of them

Still wouldn't entertain one I had a humble 318 a few years back and it was awful. No guts, depressing interior and every thing was heavy about it. I know the 318 in not the best representation of a BMW but it was enough to put me off of them

I had a new x1 6 mths ago and didn’t like it but would not put me off a
different model if it suited.

You have never drove crap until you drive a Chrysler / with a Bentley grill
fitted. Travelled in it for a lot of mths on and off and honest bits kept falling off. Even the electric window switch on drivers door kept popping up.
I have drive nicer tractors.

I hate 'em, a didicoys car as far as I am concerned. However a colleague of mine has the estate version and he loves it

That’s strange as neighbour has an
Estate version and it seems to be a far tighter car yet it’s on 127000 mls
and it carries sheds.
I one we used was a saloon with 47000 mls.

Have to say I'm no huge fan of BMWs. Driven a few M cars (M135, M3, M4, MY) and whilst very quick and reasonable to drive they never quite did it for me.
Years ago drove a 325 and a 330d and again nice enough but no thanks. The biggest thing that puts me off BMWs is the dealers though. Had a very bad experience with 2 of them when looking for cars (both made me feel I wasn't worth their time). Never had that with any MB dealers even when I've been in wearing gardening gear!

I did get the opportunity to drive a friends E30 325I some years ago. It was on damp roads and the car was all over the place, most unnerving

You are lucky you can choose a dealer
we only have one main m b dealer and your nose needs to be so far in the air your punching holes in the ceiling tiles. Lol.
Don’t think they allow you in with garden gloves on or look around unless your shoes a shiny.
Not joking either.
I bought a Tiguan R line off Vw Ballymena , every time i go in for my free fill up of adblue I get a nice cup of coffee as soon as I go through the door , a seat where I want and made to feel very comfortable,Wee things like the homely feeling would make you use them again.
There’s a lot of showrooms could do with improving there customer service . Can’t stand snobs.

Apparently if you have a large promotional budget you get lots of industry awards.

Looking back at some of the "Car of the Year awards" there have been some proper turkeys .
