I have a 2017 E-Class with the Command System and I've subscribed to OTA map updates.
Its currently been stuck at 16% for several weeks so I tried to do a manual update via the Mercedes Portal, I can get as far as the Download Manager starting but it just stops and gives a vague message that a problem has occured.
Before I take it to a dealer does anyone have any ideas on a workaround?

I’m sure I've read about this before but can’t find anything. The Comand system is quite heavy on battery use so it may be interrupted when the ignition is off and Comand closes down. Have you been on any long journeys recently to give it chance to do it while the engine is on?

I did come across this thread on the other side. As usual, there are a lot of conflicting views but it seems it may need a dealer intervention to stop the OTA update. Hope that helps.

And, before anyone asks, we are talking about a 213 here with Comand. Normal Comand systems need updates to be loaded by the dealer. The Garmin Map Pilot systems can be updated by download to SD Card. It is only cars with the MBUX system that get OTA map updates.

Thanks, Steve, I was thinking a long journey was needed, but it's still at 16% after I did a 3-hour trip this week.
