I have a S Class 280 yr 2000, just recently the command unit will freeze after a while and you cannot do anything with it. i.e all the buttons are useless, it seems to be getting hot, this morning the radio was on but no sound, if i disconnect the battery it works for a while then plays up again. Is this a common fault, can it be fixed and if not what can you suggest please. It also has sat nav.
