Command units

Hi,
have found this command unit on ebay (250201651667 )it says will fit on w208.
I have 1997 clk320 w208.

Is it a major job to fit one of these in my car ? if it can be fitted what kind of benifit do i get eg sat nav etc.
i already have 10 cd changer in boot.

Advice would be apreciated

Hi Johno,
Yes it will fit. You will also require a wiring loom and a GPS Antenna.
I would recomend buying from a UK seller though.
I can also recomend someone in the UK at a good price.

What would i expect to pay for the Command, GPS and wireloom along with fitting costs.

Also it would be nice if i could upgrade to multi function steering wheel, is that possible with the Command.

I didnt even mention Lithuania in my post.
My point is that a reliable UK source would probably give you more help if things went belly up and you needed help installing it.

As for the wiring loom, yes it can be purchased from Mercedes Stealers at a cost of £153.00, compared to £79.00. That is almost half price.

I supply and install comands everyday and there are members on here that I have installed comands for, and I also give a warranty with them.

Also what would be approx price for supply and fix inc all bits needed to carry out installation eg. loom etc

You do not have any worries in this respect as many people offer help and are in the trade, it is not as though you are only here to advertise your services.

The help that you give more than outweighs any commercial aspect
